Mumbai essentials

The basics for getting to Devcon and around the city.

Official travel guide
Arriving in Mumbai

Land at Terminal 2 (BOM)

Most international flights arrive at T2; some domestic flights use T1, which is elsewhere. Look for the Devcon welcome booth in T2 arrivals, right after baggage claim.

No data when you land? Use the official prepaid taxi counter inside the terminal.

Transit to BKC

Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line)

Runs underground from the airport to BKC in about 5 minutes, skipping road traffic. BKC station is 200m–1.3km from the venue entrance.

Rideshares: Uber, Ola and Rapido pick up from the marked app-cab zone. By road, allow 20–60 minutes.

Getting around

Local transport & traffic

BKC sits between South Mumbai and the western suburbs. Auto-rickshaws run in the suburbs, BKC included, but not in South Mumbai.

Rush hours are 8:30–11am and 5:30–8:30pm. BKC to Colaba or Fort can take 45–90 min by car; take the Sea Link or Metro Line 3.

Money & payments

UPI & cards

QR-code payments (UPI) are everywhere. Visitors can set up UPI with apps like CheQ or Mony after a passport check, then pay like locals.

Visa and Mastercard work widely; Amex is patchy. Carry some cash for autos and street food.

Venue advisory

Jio World Centre, BKC

G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, 3–6 November. The air conditioning runs cold, so bring a light layer for full-day sessions.

Diwali falls on 8 Nov: roads get busy and rooms fill fast, so book your stay early.
